We established Alpacas CarlosĀ® as a small business breeding operation in early 2008. We are located off Route 15N close to historic Frederick, Maryland. You are welcome to visit us and be part of our stress-free lifestyle as we interact with these gracious, intelligent and gentle animals. Watching them while the day goes by is truly fascinating. Each animal has its own and distinct personality.
Alpacas are gregarious animals with a clear sense of hierarchy. They communicate with each other with expressive body language and humming. Their inner struggle between curiosity and shyness is more apparent with strangers. There are no words to describe the joy of watching our herd graciously walk from their paddocks towards the feeding areas in the barn when they spot one of us coming to feed them every morning and evening. In brief, raising alpacas is a fascinating activity that yields good financial returns while providing a relaxing way of life. To arrange a visit give us a call at 301-473-2424
